Perhaps due to negative experiences in the past, incorrect stereotypes, or just miscommunication, there is much confusion about how pawnbrokers and police can work effectively together to achieve their shared goals of fighting crime and protecting property, while shedding the stigma of pawnbrokers as "criminals". This course presents ways that police and pawnbrokers can enhance the partnership between the two dynamics that usually seem at odds with one another and view each other in negative lights.
This series of courses is geared to educate the individual about each group's roles, the regulations they must follow, and communication techniques they can use to strengthen the relationship between pawnbrokers and police.
