Machinegun, Silencer, And Short-Barreled Rifle/Shotgun Obligations For A Licensee

Course Code: 08PNR0.3

Overview:

The National Firearms Act is a Federal statute that regulates the types of firearms that may, and may not be accepted at a pawn shop, as well as dictating the process of registering or transferring certain firearms with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE). This course teaches employees how to recognize different types of weapons and how to determine if they can legally accept each type. The course also presents the specific requirements a pawnbroker must utilize for registration and transfer when dealing with different types of firearms in one state or across state lines. Additionally, as different states may have different requirements, this course is customizable and can be adjusted to reflect any specific rules, regulations, and legislation for a specific state or county.
